March 8th Meeting - Don't Forget!

What should be on your "don't forget" list for the March 8th meeting:

Baskets for the March basket program - did you sign up? Bring the basket (try to be a few minutes early if you can so we can set up). It should be a lot of fun! Not-signed-up-for baskets are always welcome! Any theme is ok, baskets do not have to be quilt-related.
Door prize - as we discussed at January's meeting, all members are asked to bring their yearly door prize to the February or March meeting. All prizes will be stored until needed
Refreshments (did you sign up?) - don't forget beverages are needed
Charity block of the month - Due this month are the pieced heart block (block kits were distributed along with the pattern - feel free to make more blocks in any fabrics), the applique puppy (in any fabrics and any applique method); and the string block (our year-long project in any fabrics, starting with a 2" center strip). Of course, blocks from previous months are always acceptable, along with donations of batting or child-friendly fabrics.
Non-perishable food or personal products for the Samaritan Center Food Bank
Block of the month
Dressed teddy bears or clothing  - more bears will be arriving in April but go ahead and make clothes now
Fat Quarter of the Month - March's color is GREEN or SHAMROCKS
