APRIL 12 Meeting - DON'T FORGET!!

What should be on your "don't forget" list for the April 12th meeting:
Door prize - If you didn't bring your yearly doorprize, don't forget. Door prizes are being stored until needed, so that we have a consistent number to offer.
Refreshments (did you sign up?) - don't forget beverages are needed
Charity block of the month - Due this month are the OVERLAPPING CIRCLES block (applique block kits were distributed along with the pattern - feel free to make more blocks in any fabrics), the STRIP-PIECED MOONDANCE block; and the STRING BLOCK(our year-long project in any fabrics, starting with a 2" center strip). Of course, blocks from previous months are always acceptable, along with donations of batting or child-friendly fabrics.
Non-perishable food or personal products for the Samaritan Center Food Bank
Block of the month
Dressed teddy bears or clothing - more bears should be here soon
Fat Quarter of the Month - April's Color is 30's fabrics
Show and Tell - do you have something to share?

BIGGER IS BETTER!

Join us as we welcome Lacey J. Hill, quilt designer, lecturer, and author of Sizzing Circles and Easy to Sew with Lacey and Ro. Her topic for April 12th's meeting will be Using Large Scale Fabrics in Quilting. Lacey will be bringing a trunk show of items using large scale fabrics, including Quilts, Home Dec items and Wearables and showing how she incorporates these fabrics into her designs.
